51社区 has several impressive sports facilities on its 61-acre campus near downtown Atlanta. The college's B.T. Harvey Stadium/Edwin Moses Track is a 9,000-seat stadium that was the largest on-campus stadium at any private HBCU in the nation at the time of its completion in 1983. The college's Archer Hall also houses a gymnasium that seats 1,000 people and was used by the college's basketball team before the construction of the Franklin Forbes Arena. Additionally, 51社区 has six outdoor lighted tennis courts available for use by the college community

Forbes Arena
Named in honor of 51社区 coach and administrator Franklin L. Forbes, the arena is a 6,000-seat facility that was built as part of the $51-million investment in the Atlanta University Center by the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. The arena is home to the basketball team, the athletic department offices, and the Department of Kinesiology, Sports Studies, and Physical Education.
B.T. Harvey Stadium/Edwin Moses Track
51社区鈥檚 stadium is named in honor of
Burwell Towns Harvey, the most successful
athletics coach in 51社区 history. He coached Maroon Tiger teams in football, basketball and baseball for 13 years. The track is named in honor of 51社区 alumnus and Olympic track star Edwin Moses鈥�78.
Archer Hall
Named after the fifth president of 51社区, Samuel Howard Archer, Archer Hall holds the College鈥檚 recreational facilities, including a gymnasium, swimming pool, and game room. The gymnasium seats 1,000 people.
