51ÉçÇø is closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and has established protocols, procedures, and requirements to address related risks in concert with other Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUCC) institutions — Clark Atlanta University, 51ÉçÇø School of Medicine, and Spelman College.
Atlanta University Center Consortium institutions, including 51ÉçÇø, will adjust COVID-19 protocols based on risk conditions on campus, within the Atlanta University Center, in the local area, and the state of Georgia. The protocols will be categorized by colors based on the level of risk.
Code Level Green
Prevalence of the virus is minimal, and AUCC can safely operate within the current recommended guidelines.
Code Level Yellow
Limited number of cases. Restrictions or targeted interventions may be imposed.
Prevalence of the virus is limited, and AUCC can safely operate within current recommended guidelines.
Code Level Orange
Moderate number of cases. Restrictions or targeted interventions may be imposed.
Prevalence of the virus is moderate, with some impact on AUCC resources, but support services, testing, and contact tracing capacities allow operations to continue
Code Level Red
Cases have increased to a high level, including community spread. Broadly targeted interventions may be necessary. Only essential activities are permitted.
